Pink Brown
Hey everyone! We have tons of new things coming your way from the amazing artists here at Glitter and Grunge. We are so excited to share inspirations, works in progress, free project ideas and so much more.
You may have already seen Jen Osborn's column on art journaling every Tuesday. Mondays I'll be bringing you the Inspire-9, nine flickr images set to a mosaic with the purpose of inspiring you to do something beautiful! Starting this Thursday I am thrilled to tell you that Katie Trott will be bringing us vintage treasures and more with her column on the thrill of the hunt for those vintage gems we all love.
But for now I leave you with this week's Inspire-9 Mosaic:

Party Favor Pack Winner!
Finally! I have had a terrible time with my computers lately - three (yes THREE) have died on us in the last couple weeks. So because of ridiculous technological issues I haven't been able to post much, but we are good to go now! As you may recall I posted these little notebooks and cupcake picks and now I am finally picking the winner for the set of eight picks and books.

Through the oh-so-official pick a paper from a bowl method, Amy is our winner! Yay Amy! Email me at thehandmadeparade@gmaildotcom with your address and your prize will be on its merry way!

Flickr user Simbiosis_on_etsy painted some so-so thrift store frames and made them super fab! I am in the process of a little room makeover at our house and fun frames like these are totally on my list of things to find!

My new favorite craft site is quickly becoming Croqzine's Dollarstore Crafts site. Who could blame me when they post awesomeness such as this Sushi clock?

Closer
This is one of my flickr favorites. I love it and think it would be so cool to make one for all four seasons. This one was made by PlanetCoco and I am about to go check to see if she has an etsy shop for these great creations!

Sugar Skull Softie Stack
Today is known as the Day of the Dead (or all Saint's Day, but that is a totally different holiday, lol!) and pretty suggared skulls (prs softies made to look like them) are the thing of the day! These were made by flickr user the small cat club.

Melissa Haworth of Haworth Handmade and Under Construction made these jams and jellies for her mother in law. I just looove how she packaged them up! Melissa has a lovely blog full of great ideas and is frequently featured on this blog. If you need any great holiday gift ideas besure to check our tutorials from last year-several are from Melissa!
